Forever21 SM Aura Store Opening

Sneaking! I didn’t have a pass to this event plus, I went to school before this! I tried my best to see this show just to spot some bloggers and icons but I got to see more than what I wanted to!

Forever 21’s newest collection presents young and fresh prints on cheerful colors. Perfect for the youth of today who enjoys trying out new things! Forever 21 plays with prints and colors on to a higher and more exciting level.

Just like the photo shown above, Polka dot top  was paired with printed shorts__taking note on the color of the print on the shorts, it was paired with a red undershirt. My kind of styling! I always put my attention to small details/colors. Color scheme plays an important role to pull off a great outfit.

The denim jacket balanced the bold colors on the shirt and on the shorts.

See how versatile denim pieces are? With forever 21’s garments, you can never go wrong with their denims. May it be a jacket, vest, top, blouse, or jeans — you don’t have to worry about wearing it on summer/hot weather. 

For this season, 21Men presents a collection of bright colored jeans, top s and a classic black/gray tops.

Forever21 also featured pieces for little fashionistas! Most of them were denim paired with baby pink skirts, striped tees, floral/laces, etc. Wasn’t able to take photos because I was wearing flats that day. :( I only got to see the photos on fb.com/forever21ph » visit and like their page!

The next set of collection shows Forever21’s neon clothing for a more playful and exciting look! My kind of pieces if I want to steal everyone’s attention. Neon colored clothing are always eye-catching. With F21’s you can brighten up someone else’s mood because its pieces were a mix of vibrance and fun!

The event was hosted by Joyce Pring who’s sporting a purple hair! So coool and pretty!

What I also love about forever21 is the way they choose their models! I was smitten by one guy model!! if you follow my instagram (@thesabrinablog) and Twitter(assabfloress) you’ll know who among these guys I’m having a crush on. hihi.

I got to see my favorite bloggers such as David G, Patricia P, Lissa K, Aisa I, and some celebs - too bad I wasn’t able to take a picture with them because I was alone :( Nonetheless, I enjoyed a great show and a way way cooler store! 2 floors of fashion, style and elegance! Visit Forever21 SM Aura! You won’t miss the store because its near the entrance and the huge FOREVER 21 sign outside SM Aura was really hard to miss!

Candy Style Awards 2013

Finally!! - an addition to my /events tag this year! I was indeed too busy with acads for the two semesters that I didn’t think of attending any events in the past. booooooo! /missedopportunities  

But being a true blue candy girl, I made it a point to attend this year’s Style awards! 

#TGIFand  #yolo moments. One shall never underestimate the CANDY TEAM! Every event they organize was such a fun fun crazy night for girls young at heart (and fangirls/bloggers). 

With me for the night was my boyfriend’s sister! Our first night-out together and her first night party outside school. :) I was happy to share this night with her. I just hope I didn’t give her the idea of partying all night or whatsoever. lol.

Kathryn Bernado.. without Daniel P. Huhuhu. Boyfie’s sister and the crowd were disappointed.. but surprisingly, they still went screaming with kilig when DJ’s VTR was shown - including me. Haha.

I took pictures with JUST two cuties. Very unlikely! I remember those times when I was still in High school during Candy Fair, sinusulit ko yung punta ko! Bawat Candy Cutie na makita namin, may picture ako. Haha! Hello there, Ate abby! I miss you!

Spent the night doing blogger duties instead - photo op with fellow bloggers and photo with blogger idols + style icons/celebrities!

She looks like a legit Barbie doll and I looked like .. well, a crap. :\
(2) Linn Oeymo - I’ve seen her in various print and tv ads  before, i’m not surprised she’ll have the award. :) She’s really sweet! The way she talks and that wonderful smile on her face makes her really pretty.
(3) With Lexi of Lexithesecond.tumblr.com  - Been a follower of her blog for almost two years now. She’s one of the most genuine, humble and nice bloggers I know. What keeps her different from the top bloggers is that she’s not afraid to admit that she buys occasionally from Ukay-Ukay! She was even known for it, she has her eyes for vintage finds!
(4) Reese Lansangan of reeseypeasy.com - I stalked her blog right after I bought the April ish of Candymag. There’s so much to love about her aside from her pink hair!

Youtube sensation, Krissy and Erika! -  Super love them! Their soulful voice is amazing!

What I wore: PhFW S/S 2013 Luxewear Collection

I watched the Luxewear collection with my mom and friends! Opted for a black and white outfit! YAY! what do you think? 

Last night was a.. Fairytale.

As corny as it may sound, I know most of the girls felt the same way last night. It was such an amazing experience being in the same room with your crush, idol, and.. dream guy. 

WARNING: Expect random thoughts, crazy unusual words, improper punctuations and internet slang. 

I was lucky to be there! Especially that our tickets were given to us for free! Thanks to my Mom! Plus the fact that we had a great seat, c/o my brother! We’re near the stage! Can you believe that? Ninja moves! Haha. We arrived at MOA Arena at almost 5pm! 

We were this close! Yay!

Look at the crowd! Maaga pa nyan, kalurquei nung gabi na. As in punong-puno!

The feeling was surreal! Pang concert lang ang peg! And yun nga, concert talaga ang nangyari! Ang daming performances, sing and dance, band (NeverTheStrangers), and cheering c/o UP PEP SQUAD. 

It was worth it! Especially that while the performers were doing their act, a video presentation of the #PenshoppeAllStars’ previous photoshoots were playing!

The crowd went, “Awwwe” with Ian Somerhalder because, of course, his always and forever beautiful stare, gorgeous eyes, and effortless hotness.

While most of the teenage girls went all envious and adored the beauty of Leighton Meester when her video was flashed on the screen. Me? I went super duper crazy with Ed Westwick! As in! Ohmyyyygollly. He’s so handsome!! And nakakakilig! Mario Maurer’s photoshoot was shown as well, in fact, his video was the finale with his VTR! And most girls swoon over his cuteness!

Tipong, jan palang ubos na boses ko! Hahaha!

Then, the countdown started and everyone was screaaaming sooo loud!

3.. 2.. 1..

We were screaming on the top of our lungs!!!! Then we were surprised to see the UP Pep Squad! Their music? HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!

We’re all in this together Once we know That we are We’re all stars  And we see that..

It was so fantastic! I even got chills and teary-eyed when the music started! The memories of high school musical were reminisced! So cool!!

And he’s there!!! Right in front! In the flesh! Grabe, ang sarap sumigaw! I cannot explain the feeling! The whole thing was completely surreal! Haaay grabe!

He’s the sweetest actor I know, so far. Spoiled sa kanya yung fans niya. I envy that litol girl, who’s just 13 years old.. who, when asked about her message for Zac said, “Will you be my first kiss?” then Zac replied by, “oh, right now?” then the girl just smiled and #hoping.. then… ZAC WENT STRAIGHT TO HER. TO KISS HER! errrmerrgahhrd. Everyone was kinikilig and envious of that litol girl!

So the next girls, who were asked for their message said, “Can I have a hug?” then Zac kindly replies to all of them, “Sure, come on stage!” or “Happy birthday! And why don’t you come on stage?” Extreme!! Nakakainggit. There were girls as young as 9-13 y/o who got the chance to request for a hug from Zac! And I thought it was funny.. ‘PBB TEENS? Hug mo ko!’ lang ang peg! haha.

I can keep this post as long as 97575175567484901784018551 words just to express how I was so happy last night but I can’t. I cannot organize my thoughts this time. Can’t you tell? Haha. 

This is the best weekend I got so far. Please come back, Zac!

My childhood was spent on eyeing for heels, shoes and sandals at department stores, boutiques and even in tiangges. I remember my days when I always require my mom to buy me slippers with heels. Even my pambahay(indoor) slippers has to be with heels. 

But just when I started to grow up and learn how important our posture is, I refused wearing heels often. I learned to value comfort. Screw those aching feet because of high heels! 

Fortunately, we have what we call wedges. Instead of buying high-heels or stilettos, I prefer wedges more than anything. If you’re a follower of this blog and a fan of my lookbook account, you’ll probably remember my Black wedge oxford. I was so happy like a kid when I got that pair! Its edgy and at the same time comfy!

So on my way to a shoe bazaar, I keep in mind my love for wedges. Can you guess what I bought?

This sophisticute wedge met my ultimate standard for shoes: comfort and appearance(plus point because its old rose=pink!). As much as possible, I avoid tiis-ganda moments when dressing up. I always opt for whats comfy and safe. With this pair, I can be stylish and comfortable at the same time. 

Meanwhile flats will always be a must-have. Mom and I agreed to buy this pair because of its lace details and colors. It perfect for most of my clothes and my mom’s clothes as well.
